Pregnancy/Prenatal & Obstetrical Care

Your pregnancy should be a joyful time, and the doctors of Pinnacle Women’s Health aim to make it as pleasant an experience as possible. You will see the same doctor throughout your pregnancy.

Prenatal Care

My pregnancy test is positive. How soon should I see a doctor for prenatal care?

You should call now to schedule an appointment that will take place in the first trimester of your pregnancy. You may be advised to begin taking prenatal vitamins if you are not already doing so.

For morning sickness advice and remedies, visit http://www.morningsicknesshelp.com.

You will see your doctor at regular intervals with increasing frequency towards the end of your pregnancy. The health and well being of your pregnancy will be monitored at these visits and you will have an opportunity to ask questions. With few exceptions, you will be delivered by the doctor who has cared for you throughout your pregnancy.

Ultrasound Imaging

Ultrasounds are preformed according to The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. While it is primarily used to assess the health of the baby, it is also an exciting opportunity for the parents to see their child for the first time. Pinnacle Women’s Health Care is pleased to offer 4D ultrasound, a technology that allows you to view your baby with unprecedented detail.
